3. Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children.

4. Purposes for which we process personal data

weunitebrands processes your personal data for the following purposes:

weunitebrands does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:

  • Customer data: 7 years after the end of the customer relationship (legal retention obligation)
  • Website statistics: 26 months
  • Contact form data: 1 year after last contact

7. Sharing personal data with third parties

weunitebrands only shares data with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

9. Viewing, modifying or deleting data

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

10. How we protect personal data

weunitebrands takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us via our contact form.
